Some of my paintings are below. Giclée prints are available for most of these, made to the same high quality as described on the Stockists’ page. Please send me a message on the Contact page if you are interested in buying a print of one of them.
Latest paintings

A painting inspired by an Autumn walk by the canal in Saltaire, in the late afternoon, when the light was golden. As yet untitled, you can probably see influences of David Hockney, whose work we had just been viewing in the brilliant Salt’s Mill nearby. Have a look at the ‘Process’ section of my website to see how this was created.
‘Snow in Whirlowbrook Park, Sheffield’
This painting was over 6 months in the making, the frustration was mostly due to a tricky tree in the foreground. In the end it had to go (only in the painting – thankfully it was still standing on the bank last time I walked past). Read more about the journey on my Instagram account – see contacts page.

‘Winter in the Limb Valley’
Inspired by a walk in the beautiful Limb Valley in Sheffield on a freezing cold day in January. I loved the way the late afternoon sun caught the edges of the tree trunks. (Limited edition prints now available from All Good Stuff)

‘Mountain Pool Reflections’
Perhaps my favourite panting so far (for both the process and the memory it invokes)? Ripples from a tiny waterboatman caught my eye as we headed down Ben Aigan, in Scotland last summer, at the end of a glorious day’s walking. I loved the way the ripples disturbed the reflections and the myriad of colours. (Limited edition prints now available All Good Stuff in Sheffield.)
More Sheffield paintings
‘There She Is!’ (Strelitzia Nicolai in Sheffield Botanical Gardens)
Inside one of the historic glasshouses as the sunlight filtered through the roof. Strelitzia Nicolai is also called the ‘Natal Wild Banana’ and apparently has white flowers – I wonder if there will be any on my next visit?

‘Porter Clough in Autumn’
The latest in my Woodland Stream Series – painted following a request from someone who had been at university in our lovely city many years ago. It’s where the brilliant Sheffield Round Walk, meets the moors – a great place to wander.
The two paintings below were inspired by a walk in Ecclesall Woods after a big snowfall. Sheffield was one of the snowiest places in the country at that time.

Untitled Seascape
A painting in search of a title, inspired by a chilly day on the North Bay at Scarborough – so many blues in the sea and the sky! This painting and the two above were included in my exhibition in February 2024. (see my blog).

‘Place of the Otter’
A memory of a magical encounter with an otter – the first time I had ever seen one in the wild.
‘Bempton Summer’
The fabulous Bempton Cliffs in North Yorkshire, when the gannets, puffins and guillemots fill the air.
